On Friday the 9th of October my colleague and I travelled on business to Birmingham from Euston station. I always dread using this station because unlike most stations in London you can only be conviniently dropped off in the basement car park which means using the red phone. So instead of speaking face to face to a station staff you get to speak to someone on the phone to alert them you are in the basement waiting for assistance. The only problem is that this phone doesn't always work! Infact I met an older lady there who just sat and waited because the phone wasn't working when she arrived at the car park, luckily it worked for me and I alerted the chap who picked the phone that the lady and I needed their assistant to get to our trains.
The buggy came quicker than I expected and I thought wow, Euston might just be changing.....because on many occasions I have had to wait for an average time of 20 to 30 minutes, infact on one occassion I actually missed the train because of the delay, so things I thought were going well, it did go well in the morning atleast but don't hold your breath though because in the evening things turned ugly!
