Are you an aspiring creative? Are you a young disabled person? Do you live in the North West of England? Well if you are then this day may be for you. Disability Equality North West, One Voice in Lancaster supported and run by the Disability LIB team are facilitating a day at the Dukes theatre in Lancaster for young people on the 5th of March.

This day will offer young disabled people the opportunity to explore their future in arts, crafts and the culture of creative business.

The day will also include sessions about removing barriers, developing your practice, preparing a CV, and discuss how to prepare and write a funding bid. However you get to choose how the day goes. There will also be a hand-out of potential opportunities, apprenticeships with arts and disability organisations and/or mainstream arts organisations.

There is no cost to the day but you will have to provide your own PA, communicator or support worker. Lunch will be available.
