Protest against the Autism Strategy

There will be a protest against the Government’s autism strategy that was recently announced. The protest will be held at the Wellcome Centre, 183 Euston Road London NW1 2BE from 9am on Friday the 17th of December 2010. The Government in designing the strategy ignored the views and input of autistic people, representatives of the autistic rights movement and others. The widespread call for Autism Partnership Boards local level was ignored, and therefore autistic people will have no way of being properly involved in planning services that meet their needs. Please support this protest and pass this on to your friends and colleagues in particular autistic people.
